Only met Gus the once while out flying speedwings with a friend. Nice guy. Put him in touch with a group of paraglider friends, he was going to do a wingsuit jump from a paraglider in the Lakes a few weeks after he died. I know it would have been spectacular.
Life truly is what you make it. RIP Gus
