I think the car distraction was so that the audience can never know for sure. Was it a dud? Did one of them turn the chamber and cheat? In the comic, there is no car (they are inside) and they both accuse each other of cheating. The readers never know for sure.
Also in the comic, they start by drawing a card. The each draw aces. Pretty much the same as with the dice.
well if i am correct the gun was loaded , but when the car pulled in , if u listen u can here him turn the spin the volver when he went to aim the gun , so moved the bullet over a few. i tihnk =P
