ehh i hate that they sped up the song for the movie. it feels rushed and too high pitched

it is about the void in a persons life because of some argue that they had, and after that argue the person ( someone great) probably died, and hes remorsefull so he wants her back but it won't cause she is gone, and it hurts him every time he gets remind about it, i guess that is the whole idea

There's a general theme, but the point of the vast majority of (good) lyrics is that their meaning is subjective.

I think it means that someone who is "great" has gone away and past away that is the shadow that she left behind that used to be there and had a great time that everyone loved but died
