The Quran also uses US and WE, and those familiar with the grammar of semetic languages. Know what type of Plural this is, and do not make the same mistake. It is justified if God uses it He is King over all things, the Most Majestic and Exalted. But if humans use it can be seen as arrogance.
US is also an indefinite article is does not identify with any particular number. Why only three? your conclusion does not follow, esp from a person that insists they still believe in 1 God, not 3 Gods.
You are using circular reasoning with your argument. First you believe in the trinity then superimpose that belief into the OT. If you started from a neutral position and read the passages of the OT as it is you would never reach such a conclusion, readers of Hebrew and Arabic know this is a plural of respect & majesty. You would read in the context of one God, the word echad in the Hebrew means (i) one and only (ii) unique and (iii) indivisible. The Jews and Muslims agree God isnt a trinity.
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans10:9)"
I do not take Pauls words to be more authoritative than Jesus. You should not do it either. As John 17:3 shows eternal life begins with knowing WHO the only true God is, Jesus called someone other than himself the only true God, who is HIS God and YOUR God - John 20:17.
The second part is about knowing (therefore believing) who the true sent is.
john 17:3 Jesus here is calling someone else other than himself, the ONLY true God. And that somebody is none other than the one who sent him. He does not say "..that the know ME, but know THEE, (who is) the only true God.
John 8:40 Jesus only calls him something and the title God is turned away from him. When he says me, he calls himself one thing and the one from whom he heard the truth, as God, not himself.
John 20:17 Jesus already had a God, who is not only his God as well but also yours.
Jhn 7:16 Tells you that Jesus said, 'My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me'. The one that sent him with the message is the only one who is God.
John 4:23 Tells you nothing about Jesus seeking worship, or that the Holy Spirit seeks worship. Why? theyre not God. The only one that is God seeks worship in that passage. We call the one Jesus regarded as God, as Rabb (The Lord, Cherisher, Sustainer).
If you do regard Jesus as some divine figure, you have drifted from his original teachings.
If you want to fully understand about who Jesus is go read the Bible JHON 1:1-18. There you will know who Jesus is. There is only one way to get save which is:
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans10:9)
After we get that salvation now we should maintain it by keep doing good things and do His commandment. I pray so that God will open our heart and let us all understand. Jesus loves you
John 1:1-18 is called the prologue of John, this was not part of John when this gospel was first written but came at a later date, in its final revison, Christian scholarship say more than 1 writer was responsible for its production. John was amplified and developed in several stages during the second half of the first century. (The New Jerusalem Bible: Introduction to John, p. 1742). Its a mixture of what people were saying about Jesus at the time John was written (70 years after Jesus).
The Trinity of The True Living God is like a sun, There is only one sun but the sun is consist of the Sun itself, the Light of the sun and the Heat of the sun. So is God, There is only one God and consist of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. That's why since the first time God Created earth God says Us not I (Genesis 1:26)
this example is scientifically wrong. bcz we all know about big bang according to that the earth is a part of sun.. so sun also has a part which is earth.. so what do you mean that God has been divided into a sub- God . like the sun in the earth
