    Considering the context of Exile in Guyville (critical of the Chicago male-dominated alt rock community) I think the song is ironic. The tone of her voice, to me, sounds contemptuous rather than sultry. Although at the same time this is the song that titillated a zillion male rock journalists in the early 90s...thats irony for ya.
