Amazing Grace using throat singing overtones

This is just amazing - really blows my mind away. I'm not a music major/musician and my brother (who is) showed this to me. And I just could NOT here or understand what he's talking about. And after a lot of frustration and him yelling "YOU CAN'T HEAR THAT?!" I finally heard the overtones. Really really, impressive. I don't even know how someone can do that. xD!

haha, thanks for the comment, man. I know some music majors/musicians that can't hear it after a while because it's all about what you're looking for. Instead of yelling at people, I usually whistle the same pitch in its range and then do it for them. Then it gets them accustomed to what to listen for.

it's like combining those 2 parts in the bela fleck dvd where Kongar-ool Ondar does tuvan throat singing and Victor Wooten plays amazing grace with harmonics

it can be done without straining your vocal chords but that is not throat singing thats just making overtones
