Funny , my Father was from Belleek and married a first generation Irish girl when he came to America , my Mom , Parents from Garrison , still here always told me My Lagan Love is her favorite song and always said Irish music can be so sad and wonderful , this song which you do beautifully . I will let her hear your way which is foremost the best I've heard and makes one feel .

@maureenderry Hello Maureen , I did not explain what I meant about "Funny " , as I read the comment before of the author Joseph Campbell , my Grandfather was a Joseph Campbell (Belleek ) , I know he's not the author but still interesting , I will be searching on this .

It is just a beautiful song to sing. I love the melody and the words. I have heard many men sing this song but a beautiful song is a beautiful song so matter who sings it.
