The energy still has to come from somewhere. Electric cars are part of the solution in that they allow other energy sources to be used but they are not the solution. We still need to find energy sources.

So what you are saying is any one who is looking can find, you do not need to understand how things work to the finest detail just A good grounding of common sense. have you ever come across any one that can fix things with out knowing how they work.

I am saying that knowing more about something increases your odds of being able to invent something new or fix something that already exists.  It is a continuous function knowing a little more always improves your odds.

I have never known someone who could fix things without some understanding of how they work. This understanding may be far from a full understanding but it is also far from nothing. They may not be able to explain what they know but it is obvious that they know.
