I remember when I was 12 years old, I was listening to the radio when the DJ interupted the song that was playing. He said news just came over the wire saying that Jim Reeves had just died in an airplane accident. For the rest of the day the station was playing all of Jim's songs.

My favorite Jim Reeves song -- reminds me of the time of year I met my h usband! Years later, I got a Scottie puppy around Christmas, and this happy song became his theme song because he made me so happy!

I had a beautiful puppy that needed a name, I looked outside, big flakes of snow were just coming down and this song came on the radio ..... my puppy was named Snowflakes because of that.
