Mad respect for the old guys who were doing it back in the day, and for the new guys today who are fresh and very talented. Something Dave Lombardo doesn't have the class to do. Maybe it's because some of the new guys in heavy music today will rip him a new one.

Just watch him, love his Jazz influenced beats (syncopation and rudiments.)

His finest performance in my opinion was in Highway Chile, the beat was just so infectious.
