its not the type it is the time period its simple better metal was made during the earlier periods of its existence and occasionally there are a few gems of good metal but mostly its almost dead

this song is from 1983 - Janick didn't join the band til the early 1990's to replace Adrian Smith when Adrian left - then when Adrian came back in 1999, Janick stayed in the band too
