If you knew anything about the Bible, the first thing you would know is that much of it is not to be taken literally. Numbers in are often analogous.

I have heard this argument from at least 1000 atheists, and it's just so ignorant, and annoying.

Well if you just think that evolution theory says it takes a million years for a leaf to change shape, yet it only supposedly took 30,000 years for us to change from monkeys. We know human history up to about 2000BC (4000 years), and we haven't changed at all since then. Thus something must've happened outside of evolution during this time that we have no idea of.

So that's pretty much proof. Evolution was forced into academia by 'Darwin's bulldog'.

tho fossil dating and discoveries are constantly changing with new technologies the evolution of man began 4.5 million years ago from a common ape ancestor to that of bonobo chimps today. 'homo erectus' is a close indicator of our stages of development and skull evidence shows that has taken 500,000 years for us to develop. there is also good indicators that the human species may even be far older than fossil evidence suggests, all we can go on is facts. The bible(s) are just a good story.
