anyone that can actaully read will know from the 3 film adaptions this is the one that keeps very true to the book. The more up 2 date versions had to change as different things scare us now, although..and this is not a racist comment before u fuck wits say so....why have a black man as Robert Neville when he was white and had blonde hair??? the starngest change of them all

last man on earth and the omega man are totaly different from i am legend with will smith in the first two movies the vampires/mutants are human but in i am legend there nothing like humans there more mutant zombies

to all who don't know the book and ask themselves about the sex part: 1) buy the book and read it, it is well worth it 2) besides the fact that the book is more of a psychology novel than a vampire story, the sex part is due to neville being alone and in the first year he has a heart time overcoming his sexual desires. the vampire women which are coming to his house at night often undress and tease him etc to lure him out

This is to me, one of the best vampire movies ever made. And this is my favorite movie that was based on the book I Am Legend.
