This version of "Flying Home" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, April 6th. 2008 by JB's Jazz and Blues Band. I did miss the first few bars but it doesn't spoil the excellent version of this number Led by John Beckingham on piano the line-up was Roger Mannering on clarinet, soprano and tenor sax, Andy Woods on guitar, Mark Howell on bass and special guest Jeff Hawker on drums. This popular Gloucester based band are always welcome at the Harp and guarantee an entertaining Sunday lunchtime every time, they will be back on July 6th. 08. Once again an excellent gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening.
