Sufism is an Islamic mysticism!! It believes in purification of heart n intentions n love for 4 all!! It has its rules n regulations through which one can be among da blessed of the Prophet(SAW) and God. :)

I saw this documentary when it was first aired on tv and what I took from it was the absolute devotion humans have to connect with God through music. We can all get academic about the details of it but the truth remains that music is a unifier and no words can describe anyone's relationship with God especially if they feel a connection with God through hearing, playing or singing music.

Sufi (Tasavvuf)comes from word "Purification"
religion has two aspect
1External (zahir)salat,fasting and other practices
2inner(batin) which is the reality of belief (iman)
Sufi purifies his heart from desires og ego in order to become a perfect human (Insani-kamil
The reality of human is a secret that can be discovered only by himself
this can not be explained by words
Truth of unity only can be experimented with
realization of non-existence of ego.
