oh please! dude, his career was pretty much done by the time he wrote this song, he was doing music for fun and from demand pretty much by this point. he has more than enough money so dont give me that shit. why dont you listen to "band on the run" or "maybe im amazed" which were amazing songs...he has many more but i dont feel like naming them ALL. Paul wrote close to half of all the beatles songs that they came out with...if thats not talent then i dont know what is.

Surely you must all realise that Sir Paul is quietly laughing at your misconceived adoration. The song is pathetic, and yet it draws hysterical comments from most of you. Sir Paul writes songs suitable for children or half-wits, and, I guess, this is confirmed by the asinine comments on this site.

I honestly didn't know this was a Paul McCartney song until last Christmas Eve. It's amazing how many songs I grow up liking then finding out they were Paul McCartney songs years later.
