They were not "just" a band. Not every could write like Strummer. They were a band alright.....the band that only mattered at one point.

terry chimes does a good job but was not in the same league as topper headon
original clash drummer on all the albums.
beaten by heroin , & as joe said the end came when we sacked topper. don't do smack.

Your completely correct in every thing you sayexcept terry chimes was the original clash drummer he drummed on their first album the clash...but fell out with the rest and was renmaed as tory crimes on the album cover..he became a kind o hangeron who helped out when needed....but ye topper was the genius. i dont think this is terry chimes on this clip tho...but i could be wrong
