where can i get a copy of this version of the song? i have tried typing in 'gone with the wind theme' but it doesn't sound as good as this version! was it released at the time?

Yes, because the BBC actually used to put a bit of effort into their coverage in the 90s, they remixed the original tune and put a beat behind it. The original tune - "Tara's Theme" - is still a great piece though.
