This is a very common turnaround. We start in the 5 chord to A, which is E. We walk into the 5th chord via the 3rd tone, and then we create an E6, and walk intervals down into a E7/9. We then utilize the B-C pedals to resolve the run. Then we turnaround with a standard diminshed walk through the 1-5-1....Experiment with different timings and phrasing...there are endless ways to phrase these changes...

Mickey: thanx for all of the great videos lessons. don't know if you noticed but at about 48 or 50 seconds you refer to depressing the AB pedals and actually hit the BC and later refer to the BC. Minor oversight but you may want to correct it. Or were you just testing to see how close we watch you, I notice also that you play in your socks only sometimes. Isn't that more difficult?
