I wrote this song a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of putting it on YouTube first, so I suppose you could call it a "YOUTUBE EXCLUSIVE". Lol. It gives you an idea as to where I am arrangement and production wise with my writing. I'll leave you to work out the meaning :)
Convey is the third song, and the promo track on the album "Sight Or Sound", which can be purchased digitally at:
As well as many other reputable digital outlets such as Amazon, Itunes etc. You can also listen to clips from other tracks on the album.
Here are the lyrics ######################################## It's not what you say, it's the way you convey Those words to me. They're like poetry It's so fine how you deliver a line. I could listen to you for eternity.
If I stayed at home I could go it alone But my colours would fade into black and white. No sweet words to hear. Passing through my ears As I fight with myself at night.
So you convey. You convey. It's how you say. What you say.
I dreamed of the day I'd give my secrets away. I could bear my soul with nothing to pay. To laugh then cry has been a feature of my life. I can't lie. At least I know how it feels to be that way.
The relief in me when I at last I can see. The answer to my life. Drawn to me. The weight of a thousand worlds goes away. I can hear you. I'm finally free.
So you convey. You convey. It's how you say. What you say. ######################################## ###

Please don't take this the wrong way because i really don't mean to be rude. I've been going through your videos and your own work ( Original songs) are beautiful. I think you sing much better singing your own stuff maybe because they come from your heart. Great videos thank you Margaret I live in Canada but I'm from (Bury) Manchester UK...God country. Take care Margaret
Very nice Jeff, I'm really digging your music mate. Really glad it was shared with me. This is the kind of stuff I live my life for now. I've been writing songs all my life and almost lost hope until I found this medium and I've never been happier creatively speaking. Thanks for sharing your talents. Mark
Thank you Mark. There are many of us out there, and there are a number of us on Youtube. It's great to share the musical stories with others. I know that you can appreciate that, being a writer yourself :)
I get the impression you know what I'm talking about. Lol :) I did a course at a place in London called "The Institute of Music Technology". I gained quite a bit of knowledge there, and it's helped me to know how to move forward artistically, and technically. I learned that you never stop learning :)
