The UK price seems to be rather high, with a $ to £ exchange at about $1.45 to the £, For example, HP TouchSmart IQ845uk Desktop with Touch-enabled 25.5 inch Display (Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7550, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB SATA HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M) Amazon UK quote £1599.00 That seems rather steep!
i have it too and a lot of the issues Walt is talking about are true but i think that even if it is one touch tech a lot of the "problems" will vanish as software develops further, for example it can zoom with 2 fingers but not rotate, anyway i really do believe that the only actual downside is that there are not a lot of touch applications, when you do operate such software the experience is VERY natural and convenient, i highly recomend it.
