This is my friends rendition of Catcher in the Rye, a book by JD Salinger. The author never allowed for a full fledged motion picture so this is what he got.

Im glad theres no real movie for the catcher in the rye, it would just ruin it. Plus the story wouldn't work so well as movie...

man this movie was sooo good when it still had sound,.. the weight, unchained melody... thanks youtube, for destroying one of the classics!

Upload it again on some other website.. google video maybe.. i don't know! we just need the sound!

ohhh god, good times. i remember begging my teacher to study this. she said 'no, we're doing of mice and men.' i had a complete breakdown and told her that i was going to do catcher in the rye for gcse come hell or high water, and that of mice and men was a crappy book, and she was blatantly a phony for making us study it.

i loved that book it was like my life. i'm a year out of high school now and back than i hated all those Phonies, Posers, Wannabes, triehards and arseholes who used to pick on me

know what I love, I love it when you read this in English class, and all the phonies start talking they they get it, and they bring that point up like it's big news, like they're hot shit. It always makes me giggle.
