I guess I could understand that. I don't know him well enough to know his dark side. Unfortunately, selfishness seems to come with being an artist. Their art/craft comes before everything (including families and friends). Cheers back from NYC/USA!

he does, and also he is the most selfish passive aggressive asshole I know.. I'm not saying this to troll.. just to somewhat demystify him.. he's very funny and witty guy, a great guitar player and definitely one of the most fascinating people I know .. but he's also very nasty at times.. he's human and he has a dark side.. like all of us.. just to balance the exclusively positive reactions to this post.. nice little interview of him though! cheers!

THAT would be MOST excellent! Marty once showed up -in the crowd- at a Soft Boys show in NYC. It was kinda cool seeing Marty out of his element ..actually following us around, that was pretty cool. Love him, just love him.
