Angiolini the whole is Europe is sharing with Jimmy Smith (Accused person) all this information at the beginning of a prosecution and has been doing so for many years. Your comments sound more like you are doing all accused persons in Scotland a favour rather than adhering you your ECHR obligations that you have ignored and argued against for quite some time. Its a real shame for you in Scotland as you really are top of the bottom in legal circles and getting wrong all the time.

Scots law is not Strasbourg compliant in respect to its pre trial disclosure rules. Despite legislation and Privy Council decisions attempting to change the law they are widely ignored. This is primary due to a Judiciary that does not like change and is fuelled by their blinded belief there system is above Strasbourg Jurisprudence. Equally Scots law denies accused person access to legal help whilst in police custody for 6 hours. ITS AN INTERNATIONAL DISGRACE!
