i feel for shane here. What a second-rate production The South Bank Show looks. It's like the director is still living in the 80s. As for Melvyn Bragg, I get this queasy, distasteful feeling as though he were Max Mosley. I'm not saying the Culture Show is the way to go but this as dated as British Leyland. Melvyn Bragg would be better suited to interviwing butter churners in Cumbria.
