Heard this song on the radio this morning so just had to find the performance on youtube. This was when Barrymore was funny and at his best.

Troops were out of synch at the end! Barrymore has always been a great entertainer - and certainly superb at interacting with fellow performers and audiences. This is funny, but it is predicated on stereotypical homophobic viewpoints toward effeminacy and promiscuity - shame. Meanwhile, it remains a terrible waste that Barrymore is not using his many skills in the world of television and entertainment
