berrykeith20 - no offense, but Andy was anything but untalented. He was a brilliant graphic artist/illustrator, you should make a point of looking up his work and you will see what I mean. He used to illustrate for the magazines and advertising and he was known around town for being a brilliant artist. His later work, the pop art, was amazing, too, IMHO. But he was a true artist.

People should hate Warhol. He was a talentless poser who treated many people awfully, especially in his last years. I like that the movie did show his unsophisticated blue-collar family background, something he was embarrassed about considering that the New York art scene has always mostly been whiny douches from monied families.

That would have been a cool movie named "The Factory".....Hey, you want to write a screenplay with me & tell the life of Edie as she would have liked it told? (I'm assuming I know the way she would have liked it told from the things she said during the filming of "Ciao! Manahattan" which she died 3 months after filming).

Why would you think Jonathon knew her very well? He knew absolutely NOTHING her life in NYC except what she told him, he wasn't THERE, they "ran into each other" after she moved back to CA. What makes you think he "participated"? Dylan KNEW her & threatened to sue if he was involved. Lou Reed KNEW her & said "I read that script, it's the worst piece of crap I've read in a long time...it's amazing how low some people will stoop to make a buck" & "I KNEW Edie S. & Sienna is no Edie". Sorry.

Actually, "Like a Rolling Stone", "Leopard-Skin Pillbox Hat" & a few others are about Sedgwick. But the real romance was with Bob Neuwirth, Dylan's best friend. Although most of Blond on Blond seems to be inspired by Edie, he was married either during or shortly after their affair, since no one has been able to put a timeline on it. His marriage to Sara Lownds was kept secret for at least 3 months. Not from the movie :)
