I watched him for years from the City Ground Terraces. He was rarely a dirty player. Hard as nails yes but rarely dirty. Reid must have said something to him that wound him up.

nowadays the first one would of been a red not a yellow, and i bet ya that instead of carrying on with the game, the players nowa days would be down almost in tears! faggots these days haha.

i just love how he tries to get Reid to stand up on the second tackle, trying to convince the ref (as well as himself) that the tackle wasn't that bad.

aye, football was a bit more of a man's sport back in that day... it's softer now-a-dayz... but ya can't blame the players or the ref.. FIFA has asked refs to be more harsh and that's what they've done...
