The fact is he is right it is an inconsistency, however you can read the book of Jasher and other apocryphal books. Some books were destroyed and lost.

If we were to all write an account of the same story u would get different accounts and inconsistencies.

Man is at fault, that does not cancel the Bible as relevant. The very fact you have 4 Gospels with minor difference only testifies to the fact there were inconsistencies.

Ask yourself, are you now saying Christ never existed or walked on this earth? Or are u simply stating people have been at fault in recording what they could remember.

I'm not sure who this so-called person is but it would be nice to talk with him. The bible speaks of people like him who are, "void of understanding" Prov 7:7,12:11,10:13,17:18. The bible also speaks about "false teachers" 2 Peter 2:1-22,Ezekiel 13:1-23,1 John 4:1-21,Jude 1:1-25. The bibel also speaks about a "lying tongue" Proverbs 6:16-19, Proverbs 26:28. The bible is God's Word read it for yourself don't believe what someone else says.

Ohh--treblecleft already covered this. I notices no one addressed this.

Jacob traces through Joseph's lineage. Heli traces though Mary's.  Nathan & Solomon were BROTHERS!

So sad--I pray the people are not THIS easily deceived.

Hold yours....Yah is NOT one to change his word he is infalable... These pple take a charge at their own history book. They need to look at hebrew to understand!
