I've come to like Obama - I think he's a good candidate but unfortunately he does not understand Economics (not just this clip). Overall Obama's understanding on Economics is simply 'nice sounding econ' and that's not the reality. High competitiveness doesn't coincide with long term job security. I wish Obama 'could' choose Ron Paul as a VP - I'd be very happy for the USA if that was their Ticket.

I respect your comment but most of the voting public doesn't understand Economics and need to at least hear something that sounds nice. The bottom line is that Obama is standing on the position that the U.S. economy has to do more to benifit Americans that aren't making a million dollars a year.

I can't believe McCain doesn't get it's about the economy more than anything else now... well I guess I can, the GOP attempts each election to change the subject. Billions in Iraq and the loss of our soldiers in a war that had nothing to do with 9/11 and the economy is of course effected by the war... and yet they think they can run on that record... yeah, well see how that works for you guys. I like Barack BUT I'm not happy with his voting record. Actions (and votes) speak louder than words. How could he have been in favor of the bill that is being proposed (or may have passed) which would allow the telecoms off the hook for illegal federal wire tapping? If you're against the war then at some point vote against military funding on principal that you want the troops to come back. Take a position and vote accordingly.
