Concert for Bangladesh Madison Square Gardens 1971. Leon Russell "Jumpin Jack Flash / Youngblood Medley. Perhaps the best version of Jumpin' Jack Flash ever performed live. Leon owns this song...this night . And NONE of them took a penny even canceled some of their own gig's just to make it and be on that stage. I'd like to see that happen today ... O_O

I was lucky enuff to be at the first afternoon show at the Garden. Blew us away. No one knew who was going to be appearing with George....each time George introduced another musician as they walked on stage we went berserk! Unreal. Still have my ticket stub, too.
Leon Russell; it doesn't get any better than this! Leon was a "session" musician in L.A. with the "Wrecking Crew" in the mid 1960s. He was great support and later had his own band. This is the best part of the "Concert of Bangla Desh!"
