@Velvetdusk09 it's about his brother who died of I believe it was brain cancer.. which he died a day before my great uncle also died of brain cancer. I ABSOLUTELY love this song! I love David Cook his music is amazing and theres always a story behind it... It's just amazing.

Yes, I wanted to find a cure so I could save his brother ;-) (and everyone else of course). I watched the video where he announced his brother's death at the marathon. I'm happy David's pulling through this well. I also saw him on Xtreme Makeover: Home Edition. Loved it when they visited the hospital. Those kids are so artistic.

@Velvetdusk09 I saw that too and I cried because last year 2 great uncles and 1 great aunt died of brain cancer. When Andrew died didn't he die when he just got off stage and was at his hotel room, while David was on his way to get him? This song has so much meaning.. I wish I could find a cure, seriously. After I graduate next year and go to college I am going to hopefully be involved in so many cancer funds/runs... it's a touchy subject since so many people in my family died of cancer :(
