13tk21 The cubicle thing - that's hilarious. But while I am may not be be fit to tie the laces of Nick Cave's shoes, I have published some short stories and poetry. I am currently working on a film script and novel as well as learning classical guitar...but yes, you're right, in the light of day I am close to being cubicle-ized - although the job involves creative writing. Thanks for making me laugh. Must get on now...Where did I put that pencil...?

I love these ridiculous arguments and commentary. Uncreative people commenting on creative people alway's gives me a little chuckle. What's it like in that cubice all day? If you spent some time "doing" something instead of commenting on someone who IS doing something you might have a more gratifying existence. I've got to go do something now...

This song is about how each of us feels the world is in decline as we age. It also highlights how we let our moral sense slip as we get older - "I went to bed last night and my moral code got jammed/ I woke up this morning with a Frappucino in my hand" - I for one think it is morally reprehensible to spend money on luxury items when people are starving in the world - but alas, I too have sometimes fallen victim to modern consumerist values - Songs like this keep me on track - Thank-you Nick!
