DAF 66 Practical classics photo shoot

I took a literally identical car to Germany for a friend a couple of weeks ago! I didn't think there would be another quite the same...

Is that the one that was on ebay? that was a nice car, has the car gone to germany for good? there are very few left in the uk now.

It was indeed. Yes, it has been exported for good. It was quite rusty when you looked at it in detail. It needed a new front wing (or extensive repair), and several other sections of the car were in similar need...but it will be repaired. It had been on eBay several times, and I didn't see anyone rushing to buy it :(

Same years ago i had a DAF 44 estate, noise as hell,but very easy to drive two pistons air colde.Could travel all day at 60mph,if you could stand the noise.ha good all days.

I remember a neighbor had one of these years ago when i was a kid, in orange if I remember right.
A nice looking little car and i enjoyed seeing it in the mag.
