@thebouncer12345 Because the filmmakers didn't want to try and reproduce that incident - as there were no surviving victims to corroborate details. So, in the interest of accuracy/truth, they opened with Mike Mageau and Darlene Ferrin, since Mageau lived to describe what actually went down that night.
In a related note, the actual first murder, of Betty Lou Jensen and David Farrady is extremely disturbing and terrifying. Then again, they all were, of course.
@lilcrazyaznboy i know dude!! compare the new "friday the 13th" to the old one. the new horrors are all about sex and drugs. it sets off the mood of horrors. but like the shining it earie
@lilcrazyaznboy Uh, you sort of contradict yourself. You said horror movies these days are nothing but gory and slashing. Aren't Texas Chainsaw and Hills Have Eyes that way too? I haven't seen them, but they do seem quite gory and nothing much.
@MichaelJacksonFan000 the hills have eyes was more creepy, suspenseful and oddly a little into using freaks as horror material. texas chainsaw massacre was as the title implies, gorrific ;)
Its a great movie its not really a horror movie but a thriller drama. if u love movies about serial killers than you would love this. theres a few chilling moments too. watch it.
