Romantic Era music....sought to move the listener through melody, whereas the Baroque composer tried to do so through harmony. When each approach is mastered...the result is always beautiful.

In a way, the Baroque and Romantic periods are so similar...yet so different.

i'm not usually a fan of this kind of music, at all, but i've loved this amazing piece since the first time i heard it... so beautiful.

The only thing that improves this song is watching Maya Plisetskaya or Uliana Lopatkina, amongst many other beautiful ballerinas, dance Fokine's La Mort du Cygne to this piece.
