i think he does the same sort of thing that Billy Connolly does... doesn't write it, as such, but may list his topics and refer to that from time to time

The most naturally funny guy on earth.

Think he has maybe two or three jokes that he will stick in through the show and the other 90% is just comic genius.

His interaction with the crowd and speed of wit is what puts him way out ahead of nearly every other comic in the world.

I've only seen him once live on the Fizzy Logic tour and after it my face was sore from laughing so much.
