All very well, but somehow she has managed to turn what is supposed to be a waltz into 4/4 time. Very strident too - I think I will stick with Patti Page for this one.

How true. Remember Mocking Bird Hill 1949? (I bet you don't), which was waltz time, but by 1964 it was in 4 time by The Migil 5.

A fabulous version of a great song - Alma did her own thing, just like Anita Lindblom who took a rather dull little tune (You Can Have Her) and turned it into the never-to-be-forgotten "Sånt är livet"...All great performers die young: Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Gram Parsons...Tack så mycket for posting this song!
