Oh, 'THE CAP FITS...' is the best.

Got to be one of the greatest Irish fiddle LPs ever. IMHO, of course.

It was my first Irish Traditional music record and it's still my favorite.

Be aware however that he played all the parts but they were different recording sessions. I.E record main melody then seperatley record a harmoney and super impose the two in a studio. However this is not to say the man doesn't play a mean fiddle, great singer aswell!!! He used to sing in his younger days.

Bluegrass and American old-time fiddle also does this alot. Sometimes fretting two strings with one finger, its really a unique sound! Then again, those styles are really products of Irish and Scottish fiddle playing.
