That isn't true. Only Born To Make You Happy and From The Bottom of My Broken Heart charted into early 2000. Oops knocked them off the charts upon its release in March. The others like Sometimes and Crazy were major hits in1999 but not as big as BOMT because there wasn't a physical CD single released for those two.

She didn't make it for that movie. Her record company only placed it on the soundtrack. Soda Pop was an earlier recording of hers from late 1997. Half of her first album was recorded in 1997.
