I see the shadow of the Beast, standing there with its black but not broken soul
I look into its eyes: I see nothing but woe and lost joy, like a child whose lost his toy and lost his way home
On...
I see the shadow of the Beast, standing there with its black but not broken soul
I look into its eyes: I see nothing but woe and lost joy, like a child whose lost his toy and lost his way home
Only death when you shake its hand, as if there was no hope Then it opens its mouth wide, and it sings from its throat the sound of dying life Like the cries and screams of a thousand dying men it sings...
Saying blasphemies things
Oh, but how I envy this blasphemies beast:
For as it spreads its burnt wings, I see that it's completely free to do only as it pleases As it mounts horns on its head --in fear they call it a fiend!
Because for it, every day it seams to be all hollows eve
The Beast has a feast, celebrates and dances on the day of the dead
Always misunderstood and miss red: He never does this in disrespect...
This Beast has his eyes open wide: But every nurtured pet around him is completely blind... I envy the beast... Even when I see that it's never at peace

ive been beating my self back and forth about this... do i stay as i am?.. and be a conformist?... er do i do as my blood tells me... and break away and out of the expectations of those that dont have 2 walk in these shoes... and become the beast?... and in turn... become the heretic. we will see..... very nice bro.

I like how deep this poem goes and yet seems like an everyday topic, but it isn't at all. Ironically, I find more freedom in the lighter realm. For the darker realm seems trapped in childhood.
Excellent poem, very descriptive and the flow is tight, not loose or chaotic. Very talented mind you have.

"I see the shadow of the beast standing there with its black but not broken soul." What a fine first line.
Thanks for posting this,
