The Heretic: poem by Santiago De Vil.

I see the shadow of the Beast, standing there with its black but not broken soul I look into its eyes: I see nothing but woe and lost joy, like a child whose lost his toy and lost his way home On...

ive been beating my self back and forth about this... do i stay as i am?.. and be a conformist?... er do i do as my blood tells me... and break away and out of the expectations of those that dont have 2 walk in these shoes... and become the beast?... and in turn... become the heretic. we will see.....

I like how deep this poem goes and yet seems like an everyday topic, but it isn't at all. Ironically, I find more freedom in the lighter realm. For the darker realm seems trapped in childhood.

Excellent poem, very descriptive and the flow is tight, not loose or chaotic. Very talented mind you have.

Janeczka sent me here, and she was right. This is the most amazing poetry.

"I see the shadow of the beast standing there with its black but not broken soul." What a fine first line.

Thanks for posting this,
Regards, Peter
