Stunning song and a gorgeous video... very true to his aesthetic (or Nyree Watts' who does most of his cover artwork). The yellow is very fitting, I think, and I love how you washed it out at the end. I hope Mark sees this and thanks you.

I hear hints of Springsteen's "Main Street", along with influences from Gordon Lightfoot and and Jackson Browne. I really want to love this song, but I could hardly make out any words and that was really frustrating. Love the instrumentals, though.

I hear none of those [ as much as I respeck Springsteen] at all. Perhaps some Townes Van Zandt in terms of temperment......Jurado and Bean to an extent, but mostly its all his.
