but Hercs funnier and has way better characterization. Herc is not for people who want to learn about myths...its for people who know the myths and want to laugh at them.
lol, "A LOT" is a bit of an understatement. I'm not saying I think the show is bad, (but yeah, it IS ultra corny) Personally I think it would have been better if they had been more true to the original myths, it would have made the show more engaging. Class of the Titans is a good one for those who like Greek myths, Its not totally loyal but it's more likely to just omit certain (usually the taboo) parts rather than change a myth entirely.

and what they screw up in mythology they more than make up for with clever oneliners and fabulous writing.
