Paddy Considine talking about "Dead Man's Shoes"

just from watching 'dead man shoes' i find that considine is one of the greatest actors i've seen. as long as he gets the good roles, he deserves to get a huge amount more of recognition

a film that really gets you.amazing,truly paddy's acting  is as good as anything de niro EVER did.sad,violent,scary,gritty film

This is one of the best films ever IMO.

No special effects, no big cars and shoot outs, just ordinary English day to day violence and misery with a heart of utter darkness.

I can so relate to what Paddy is saying here, terrible things happened when I was young and nobody paid.

The Bobby Joe Blythe video shows that they happened stateside too. :(

The revenge element of the film is cathartic in that respect.

this film was too good. so intense though...wouldn't exactly sit there and watch it with mates...

still shook up by it.
