All in fun, none of the 100+ arguments on this page matter--because BMW's are not drag racers! In fact, no European car is meant to be a drag racer. All around high performance and handling make a European car great. Leave the drag racing arguments to the Camaros, Vettes & Challengers!
well im not interested in modded vs stock to be honest, it means nothing. i've seen hondas do the 1/4 in a jiffy. simply put, the 335 needs to be modded to compete with the new E60 M3 and i've never had a stock 335 beat my E46. so go mod your low budget vehicle. you probably don't even have a 335. LOL.
e60 m3... i can't talk about that not sure what that is... i have a dinan 335i with magflow exhast and my brother who owns a e46 m3 says that my car could beat his from his point of veiw..he only beats me because hes a better driver.. oh and the other day i pulled away from a e92 m3...... 335i are faster than those e46 m3s plus my brothers was modded as well
you might have pulled away on an e92 because it wasn't racing but here's a vid of a proceed 335 (with a jump off the line), still getting taken by a stock e92.
Stock for stock E46 M3's will inch away from a 335i. My E46 M3 would just bearly inch away from my friends 335i, and we are equal drivers.
With just an exhaust there is no way you were anywhere near an E9X M3. With an aggressive tune, and a few other mods, yes I can see you beating a new M3, but not with just an exhuast... that's just ignorance.
Alright dude i need to now a bit about these 335i i have a e46 m3 exhaust remap k&N she ll pull just over 140 in 4th will sit hard behind rs4 v8 s no probs. was thinking about buying a 335 how quick are they if i map it will it see 360bhp?
