I agree with flankersquirrels that seeing squirrels in a park is one of the most gratifying things in life. My dog thinks so too!

You are supposed to feed squirrels, not scare them away.

It's a privilege to have squirrel visitors at one's place.

I was not surprised to see them fight.

Why?

Because they were both female!

The most vicious fights that I ever witnessed took place between female squirrels.

The aggressor in this fight was the bigger squirrel clearly in her early pregnancy. I suspect that the smaller squirrel invaded the territory of the bigger one, hence that vicious reaction. I don't think that the fight was over food. The seeds were dispersed wide enough for both to eat unencumbered.

haha, to me, they look like comedians.
even the way they fight is funny. Are they as pets as cats?

Look like chipmunks to me.
