Actually the rear brakes are on also. The torque is just too much for the brakes and rear wheels spin. So it's not only burning rubber but also burning brakes.

Hehe... Nice torque, my ev cant do that! :-(
And its the same size of car, Why not?
..I just have a 4.7Kw 48V motor.. :-)

Running on old crap and 96V*400A Curtis controller, a "little" more than 6hp now, maybe 40, still not much, but a series wound motor so acc is ok for city driving, but not at all ok acc near highway speed..
A Huge startup torq for a "small" motor, but still no spinning wheels on 4:th gear :-)

Are you Cheating with the use of a "gearbox"?

It has 1k LV Zilla for controller (156V 1000A). Motor burned not long after the installation and I had to drop the power to 80 kW.

And all Lithium in trunk. 36 pcs 3,6 V 200 Ah cells.

It doesn't really count as "burning rubber" if you put the front brakes on first!
