Hi i really want to read the comic books but which volume is the movie based on? is there a Collection of the book that has all volumes in one?

The film is primarily based on three of Miller's works: The Hard Goodbye, about a man who embarks on a brutal rampage in search of his one-time lover's killer; The Big Fat Kill, which focuses on a street war between a group of prostitutes and a group of mercenaries; and That Yellow Bastard, which follows an aging police officer who protects a young woman from a grotesquely disfigured serial killer....there's actually a sequel coming up in 2010 based on a Dame To Kill For called Sin City 2!

I've never actually read the comic books... can't find them around here, being from Romania and all...but still, big fan! would love to read the originals! :)

Good movie, really good. This reminds me all the good movies that went out betwen 60s and 80s like Blade Runner, Scarface and many others that I cannot recall right now.

Good movie, I hope the 2 will be good and perhaps better than the first one.
