I cant believe how fucking two faced some people can be, the women descirbed the police as hostile deliquents, fuck her, the police are there to keep order they dont give a fuck about the nature of the protest or what its about, they are just there to keep order yet they are bombarded with abuse, she'd soon fucking complain if the police wernt there and people were total maniac's, and things got out of hand, god people like that are so dam irritating...

I doubt protesters have access to equipment up to par with riot police. Even if they managed to replicate the protection of the armor it wouldn't be available to a significant amount of them.
