Verdant Works was a busy jute mill which now as a museum transports visitors back over 100 years to when jute was king and Dundee was its realm. This film presents a historic review of the importance jute played in the economy of Dundee and Scotland during 19th century. Fascinatingly, the film shows machinery similar to that at the Dundee industrial museum operating in Kolkata today.
